An electric heating plate is a heating device that uses electrical energy to generate heat. Its core structure typically consists of an electrothermal alloy wire as the heating element, mica or similar materials as insulation, and an outer metal plate (such as aluminum or stainless steel). It operates based on the electrothermal effect; electric current passes through the heating element, converting electrical energy into heat energy. This equipment is widely used in various fields, including household cooking, laboratory research, industrial heating, agricultural greenhouses, and medical therapy.

Electric heating plates come in various types, mainly including ceramic heating plates, stainless steel heating plates, carbon crystal heating plates, and carbon fiber heating plates. The main differences lie in the outer shell material or the internal heating element. They generally feature simple structure, uniform heat dissipation, good safety, and energy efficiency.
